New Horror Author Offers Hair-Raising

Collection of Nightmarish Tales

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. Forget happy endings because no such thing resides inside the covers of Rituals of Terror (now available through AuthorHouse), the new collection of horrific, intertwining stories by Steven Marshall.

“Journey into an enigmatic world where superstition and the supernatural intertwine as one, a paranormal paradox where restless spirits and demons encounter the world of blood and bone, where innocence and corruption collide and equilibrium transforms into a delirious pandemonium,” says Marshall.

Rituals of Terror is the gateway into the realm of the macabre. Marshall reverts to the darkest corners of his mind to produce tales that threaten to paralyze the reader in fright and shock them with ghoulish encounters and unnatural events. From ancient curses to new diseases plaguing mankind, the stories offer a truly chilling path into an unsafe place where every page holds the promise of revealing something frightening.

Marshall’s stories take readers into dark worlds and strange lives. The book offers a plethora of characters, each facing their own terrifying predicament: A man finds himself trapped in a skipping dream in which he is dying and cannot wake...A butcher falls victim to a new flesh-eating disease that is found inside the beef tongue he is serving...Deep in the tranquility of  the woods, a strange race of savage mutant cannibals fancy human flesh for nourishment... A teenage runaway is greeted by two escaped inmates from a mental institution -- who give her a ride... A boy’s worst nightmare comes true when he learns his grandma is coming home from an insane asylum with her invisible guests.

These characters are only a few who inhabit the haunted pages of Rituals of Terror, a collection of truly horrific and disturbing tales that are sure to send shivers up the spine with powerful lingering visions.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1970, Marshall currently resides in Florida with his wife, Samantha, who is his chief editor. A top graduate of Long Ridge Writers Association in Connecticut, he established himself by publishing poems with the National Library of Poetry and select short stories in magazines such as New Blood and Weird Tales.

Marshall has written one other book to date, The Dark Art of Wonder. More information is available at www.stevenmarshallhorror.com
